I’m Jessica Wirka, a Brit who grew up in Germany and has lived in the US for over 20 years. I founded Annis Travel after traveling extensively during my 30-year career in international business, and taking our now teenage twins on many exciting trips abroad. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with others who are as passionate about the joys of travel as I am.
I’ve completed The Travel Institute’s National Travel Agent Proficiency Certificate and am delighted to be affiliated with Burr Travel, a full service travel agency that has been in business for over 60 years. As long-standing members of Travel Leaders Network we have access to over 300 global partnerships to tap into and share with our clients.

Travel with children and teens
In our experience travel is one of the most powerful teachers in the world. Stepping outside the familiar - hearing a new language, tasting unfamiliar food, navigating a different culture - builds adaptability, curiosity, and empathy in ways no classroom can replicate. For children and teenagers especially, these experiences are formative. A teen who has navigated a foreign city’s underground transportation system, watched the sun rise over ancient ruins, or shared a meal with a family in a rural village, carries those moments for life.
